Hope Elko shows the same energy getting up in Kleins grill as he did for yelling at whoever didn't shut the door at the press conference.

I suppose to be fair...

Sherman started 0-2 vs. t.u.

Fran also started 0-2

R.C. was 1-1 after 2 games

Jackie started 0-2

Elko needs to beat the sips next year

Said the team didn't execute multiple times, then took the blame. What was missing was admitting the game plan was half assed and failed to attack their weaknesses the entire game. Incredibly frustrating to put it on the players but not address any of his or the staff's shortcomings in preparing for the game. Also didn't hear one reporter ask about the plan or their execution as a staff to put the team in any sort of schematic advantage. So players played bad, coaches get a pass?

What plan works when its not well-executed? I'll hang up and listen.

"Annihilation" would have been a good description by coach of what happened to the team in the second half. This game is a bad, lifetime tattoo.

No, it's not, it's just an SEC loss. You people put way too much emphasis on this one game and then wonder why we always lose it. Quit worrying about "the ****ing sips" and just go out and win. Hate everyone who ain't us and win.

If you couldn't see elko and staff got out coached, not much I can say to help you see what happened. Nevertheless, the best leaders point to themselves when things go wrong, and point to their team when things go right. I didn't hear that.

I don't like Elko. He just comes across rude and a jerk in these pressers. Especially to Olin.

this is why so many folks did not want the sips in the SEC

before 2024...all 12 games on the schedule were fairly equal to one another

but not anymore

it is what it is now

I thought he was nice to Olin here. He apologized for a bad answer to Olin, after distracted and angry about the door being open.

Eh, would've probably lost to any of the Top 7 SEC teams…. At least would've gone 1-1 at best if played two of them.

Reed saying in the postgame interview that he doesn't care about the Heisman made me laugh, when he's been taking time out of his work schedule to do 2 or 3 podcast interviews every week….and giving the opposing team bulletin-board material during those podcast-interviews these last 2 SEC games..

Nothing in these interviews makes me think we're going to be ready for the playoffs.
Second half performance is inexcusable.
Everything to play for and this is the best you could do?

Well you obviously didn't listen. First thing he said was that he's to blame for how they played. The biggest coaching issue I saw was our defensive approach in the 2nd half and the lack of pressure against the pass. Their success in the run game was 100% player failure. You tell me which was a bigger issue because, I think ot was our inability to stop the run because we can't fit the correct gap.

At least Reed had his diamond "10" on. That and the podcasts where he was talking crap is the stuff that matters.

Losing to Texas with the SEC Championship Game appearance on the line for the 2nd straight year was very disappointing, but I am proud of winning 11 games for the first time in 13 years and 7 conference games for the first time ever. We will probably get the No. 7 or 8 seed and host a first round playoff game. Hopefully, we regroup and win that playoff game.

Good grief, what a bunch of pansy arm chair dooooshes on this message board. Is there ANY objective intelligence left with any of you negative nancy key smashers?

Yes it sucks that we lost, especially to t.u., and not going 12-0, and not going to the conference championship game. But we ARE 11-1 and in the CFP with an outstanding coaching staff and outstanding group of Texas Aggie football players who love the 12th Man and this University.

How many big runs have we given up this entire year? Not many! When one happens, it's about 99% because someone didn't fit right. If a QB gets out of the pocket, the cage wasn't set right to contain him. If someone is wide open down the field with no one around them, someone didn't run the coverage correctly. And, penalties at bad times, turnovers of any kind, and not creating turnovers on defense or ST collectively make it very difficult to win against a good team. And t.u. is a good team, just like multiple other teams on our schedule. Aside from TO creation, all the others were mental errors. In the biggest game of the last 2 years (thus far!). On the road in a hostile environment, more than it's been in well over a decade. At night. Against our biggest rival.

Yet some of you who call yourself an Aggie can only b**** and moan about how coach had a terrible game plan and the players didn't want it bad enough. So bush league, and more akin to tshirt fans of the puke orange variety than real Aggies. Coach had this team in position to compete for the conference title in his first two seasons! We are in the CFP in year 2! Our players have been outstanding all year, and are ALL IN on being Aggies and playing for the 12th Man. EVERYONE knows that Coach has the ship headed in the right direction with real culture that our players have taken on. Some of you need to check your ****ing attitude, your brain, and your spirit and decide if you truly are an Aggie. Otherwise gtfo.

Game plan was trash didn't even try to establish the run game. All of a sudden your sending four man fronts on third down. Which you haven't done all year. Very weird game plan.

Coming from a former Aggie player, your comment is spot on! It amazes me how some of our so-called fans are quick to criticize the team instead of supporting how hard these kids fought. No one person is to blame. It's a team sport! Bottom line is we got outplayed and out coached. Too many penalties to go along with it as well. This team is 11-1 and is still in prime position to accomplish something that hasn't been accomplished since 1939, and that's winning a national championship. So, to all of you arm chair quarterback's in the comments, support this team or get off the bandwagon! GIGEMDAMNAGGIES!

Thank you! Bunch of pansy a** old men in the comments crying like they just lost their dog. This has been one of the best seasons A&M has had in the last decade and all they wanna do is cry about press conferences and podcasts. Jesus Christ. Still playoff bound. tu won their natty last night and we are getting ready to prepare for a real one.

Very angry last night.
Now, just disappointed and confused.

I don't understand how we didn't get enough pressure on Manning with their weak link OL.

I don't understand how our WRs couldn't get open like they did all year.

I don't understand how suddenly our DL keeps making the same mistakes in the same game.

I don't understand how our experienced OL didn't create better holes for our RBs.

I don't understand how we send 4, get no pressure, and their WRs run across the middle of the field regularly to make catches.

I don't like our chances against the better teams in the playoffs if we couldn't game plan, execute, expose the opposing team's weaknesses, and use our strengths to an advantage.
I have a bad taste in my mouth that can only be removed by an appearance in the final. A win would remove the memory of the bad taste as well.

Also - the losers on here that resort to calling Elko names or commenting on his weight will never be winners, even when the team does!

3rd and 2 with a horrible throw down field lost the game. Sorry, not sorry.

That was Frantastic-level momentum killer.
