AUSTIN — Looking back on what was learned, loved and loathed in Texas A&M’s 27-17 Southeastern Conference football loss to Texas on Friday night:

Learned

A&M will probably host a CFP game: The loss will surely drop the Aggies in the College Football Playoff rankings. At 11-1, it could be possible they’d remain in the top four and get a first-round bye, but that seems unlikely. Rather, they’re probably going to drop to fifth or sixth.
