On his initial reaction to hearing Johnny Manziel’s name called…

"I was okay. Actually, Coach Kelly and I were talking about a few things while we were sitting there. It’s a long ceremony and we’ve been traveling between New York and Orlando, so we’ve gotten to know each other. When it happened, I was okay and pretty happy until (Manziel’s) dad hugged me. It was a different hug. When someone really hugs you, you feel it. It’s a big deal.”
