Ball Five: Offense stays strong in sweep of Mizzou

Now ranked No. 20 nationally, Texas A&M went to Columbia over the weekend and swept the Mizzou Tigers while scoring 39 total runs on 11 homers across the three-game set. The Aggie offense has been potent of late, while the pitching still has some work to do.

Bounce back, redemption, revenge.

Those are some of the words that describe Texas A&M’s performance in Columbia over the weekend. The Aggies picked up a hugely important road sweep over Missouri, which was also their first SEC series win of the season. The pitching performances were somewhat questionable, but it was good enough to win every game of the three-game set. On the other hand, the Aggie bats were red hot all weekend and were the driving force in the sweep effort.
