The upcoming draft will be rife with big names from the country's best conference, foremost among them two stars from Texas A&M. Meanwhile, will the Aggie women's basketball team win the SEC in Year 1?

Here are some random thoughts about the Aggies’ past, present and future and college sports in general a cold day in Middle Tennessee.
  • Listened in on a telephone conference call with ESPN NFL draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. on Wednesday. Kiper projects Texas A&M offensive tackle Luke Joeckel to be selected first by the Kansas City Chiefs.

    However, Kiper also said he thought Kansas City would be wise to trade down and pick up more picks.
