Going 0-for-4 would have been disappointing at Olsen Field.

It was absolutely devastating at Reed Arena.

Four times Texas A&M attempted game-winning shots — at the end of regulation and in three overtime periods — and each time the Aggies misfired.

Consequently, Texas A&M (16-11, 6-8) suffered a demoralizing, quadruple-overtime, Southeastern Conference loss to Tennessee (16-10, 8-6) before 7,828 emotionally spent fans at Reed Arena on Saturday afternoon.
