HOUSTON — The Aggie baseball team entered Sunday's battle with top-ranked North Carolina riding high, fresh off of an 8-3 win over No. 12 Rice the night before.

But this one was essentially over from the word "go," thanks to as disastrous a pitching performance by a starter as you will find.
