Aggies drop series opener to Auburn, 6-4, in extra innings

On Friday, the Texas A&M baseball team lost game one of their weekend series with the Auburn Tigers. With the defeat, the Aggies fall to 19-12 on the season and 5-5 in Southeastern Conference play.

COLLEGE STATION — The Texas A&M baseball team rode the commendable command of starting pitcher Daniel Mengden but the Auburn bats took advantage of the Aggie bullpen in extra innings to topple A&M, 6-4, Friday at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park.
