This week, I decided to something a little different following an Aggie scrimmage — I wrote my notes following the two-hour Kyle Field affair before looking at a single statistic.

You see, when it comes to intrasquad scrimmages, statistics rarely matter. Sure, if Mike Evans tops 200 yards receiving, that’s a real story. Trey Williams ripping through the A&M defense last August was certainly noteworthy. Such explosions are the exception rather than the rule, however.
