Thanks, he said after the race @ Cushing that he felt good physically but was "a little pssed off, but in a good way....he just needs to 2+2 together again in his head"...
There's always seems to be an adjustment after college for all atheltes across all events! But he and his mind know what it takes, no doubt the elite times and performances will come!!!
I didn't think Brandon would be able to continue his success as a post-collegian. I thought his size and his lifetime of comps would wear him down. I was clearly wrong. Kudos to him. He's been terrific.
I'm shocked we didn't try him in the steeple with Coach McRaven being such a steeple guy. I guess he was just so good in the 1500/mile that the thought didn't occur.
I believe Cawthra is wise to focus on the steeple. The 1500 and 5k are loaded in the US at the moment, far less so in the steeple. Also encouraging to see that Parker Valby ran another PB in the 5k.
Right, and same with Moiben this past year! I assume we'll just have everyone try the steeple at least once! I can't wait to see Cawthra continue trying it!
