I got a message from both of these two as well. I asked for a screen shot of the tickets in their 12th man app and they both went silent. Pretty sure both are scammers.

Natan send me a message within 1 minute of me posting which is a huge red flag.

Don't know why we can't get their accounts shut down

They can easily send a screenshot of their app - easy to just photoshop in different seat locations.

Never fully trust that.

Also a reason why you shouldn't share a screenshot of your app to justify you having the tickets, because scammers can use that to go fool other people that much easier.

Only 4 posts since Nov and all within last 3 days.........NOPE!

Recently scammed by this guy. He has an ag tag and long history of posting, so his account may have been hacked

How do you know it was him. He's not a paid subscriber on TAs so you can't DM him. You put your email out there and never got a response back from him on any of your posts. Was probably a scammer lurking and just claimed to be him. 99.9% sure that is what happened.

A scammer is posing as me via text and selling ND tickets. That is not me. 2 posters DMd me about it.

Same thing happened to me earlier this week. Glad to see some folks actually attempting to check back with the user.

Watch out for scammers on the ND tix market.

Let's be careful not to tell these folks how we know they are scanners. Don't "train" them.

I do see.some contributing to TMF to try to get a hint of legitimacy.

I usually ask a few questions and you can get a pretty good read on people.

Were you a student? if they say yes, then game on.

Are these in the shade?
Students are behind the players right?
You can bring alcohol in the stadium
Scoreboard is at the North end of the stadium
etc...
Are these close to Revelie?

Someone claiming to be Urban Ag and using the email msred8811@gmail.com unsuccessfully tried to scam me just now. They sent me a pic of a 12th man account showing one of the tickets and an Aggie ring (both included here). The person initially went radio silent when I requested them to post on my ticket thread and give me a call. When I followed up and asked if the person could do those two things to verify it wasn't a scam the person replied with no and got a bit defensive.

Urban Ag verified not being the one trying to sell the tickets. Be careful out there!!

Add msred8811@gmail.com to the fraudster list. He/she texted me from that iMessage account about having tickets to sell that belonged to someone else.

Obvious scammer emailed me re: my Notre Dame WTB thread - knew it was a scam immediately but led him on long enough so he'd tell me all his accounts. Said he was selling these seats for a quarter of the price of any ticket sites: Section 106, Row 26, Seats 22-26
