This fearsome combo is up to 5 or 6 opossums and a squirrel. The big one pulls them off the other side of the 8ft fence. The little one finishes the job usually.

These two like to chase squirrels out on our walks, and have gone after multiple possums in our backyard, and one possum and a frog at the beach house. Rocksanne (bottom) especially loves to play the huntress. Rockit is kinda indifferent to the squirrels most days.

Fortunately for those varmints, only the beach house animals were actually inside a mouth and possum was rescued before damage was done. Not exactly sure what happened to the frog, though.

My sweet Sadie could use some prayers. She at the vet having trouble breathing. She's probably around 14, and she's having some other health issues, including unable to walk and can barely hold herself up for the last couple of weeks. This means we really have to start thinking about her quality of life.

Thanks, y'all. Sadie came to as a (probably) 4-year-old stray found in a parking lot by a friend. She was sweet, but stand-offish with people. But she cured our puppy of separation anxiety as soon as she arrived. Gaining her trust and love took a little time (we had to worry about her running off for a while). But she's the sweetest little lady now. A groomer recently called her the "perfect potato dog." I've been preparing for this for a while, but I don't think I'm ready.

She's coming home with us tonight with meds. Vet said if she has trouble breathing tonight we should consider quality of life. Not what I wanted to hear. But she'll be with us, not at the vet's office.
