I've heard that the Association is introducing a silicone Aggie Ring soon to accommodate the more active lifestyle many of us enjoy. I love my silicone wedding band. I think this will be a wonderful thing for those of those that work with our hands or have jobs where traditional metal rings are a danger.

The Maroon silicon wedding band with the white aTm stamp was $40. As much as I'd love a silicone Aggie ring to wear in certain situations, I have a feeling it's going to cost more than it's worth if it actually happens

I looked at the Aggie Ring order page and noticed that they only have options for men's and women's rings. What about rings for people whose gender does not align with the two that are typically assigned at birth without their consent?

Somewhere out there, a Beto supporter is asking this very question.

The Association will be handing out silicone Aggie Rings at their alumni tailgate this weekend. All you have to do is turn in your man card to receive one.

No one is suggesting that wearing a ring isn't dangerous for some profession/lifestyles.

But the idea that
1) a silicon Aggie ring wouldnt look ridiculous
2) you have such a need to externally signal that you are married/Aggie while actively participating in said dangerous profession/lifestyle

Is worthy of ridicule and mockery.

I had a close call playing basketball so now I take off my ring when I am doing activities where that is a potential. I don't nead a temp ring to wear when doing physical activities.
