A good day starts with good coffee.

Slept hard but slept in a bad position on my left side at some point. It's sore.

The Aussie is getting spayed today. Hoping that all goes well.

Using vacation the first half of the day. Will do some chores. Afternoon will be busy.

Pizza place screwed up our order last night so I had to go back. They made it right but it's frustrating when you are home for the evening and didn't plan on leaving the house again.

Need to find some breakfast at some point. Gotta slam some water first.

• Today is basically filler material before tomorrow's festivities
• Yesterday, normal A/C at work so I dressed normal. Today, cold AF
• Australian visitors at the office today. They're really fun to listen to!
• What happened to rope bridges? I feel like I don't see those in movies or anywhere now

• Some form of apple pastry from the Mexican bakery was consumed
• Taking The Wife's car in for windshield replacement
• Making salsa for the Frio excursion this weekend

• Uncrustable and homemade starbucks coffee dupe for bf
• Bringing car in later this morning to get dash cams installed
• Finally starting to see a little bit of a lighter workload at the office
• One of my best employees last day is tomorrow
• Travel work tonight.

I've been working my way through their line up and so far I love the Mexican Style Copper, Atletica, and the Lemon Radler is okay. What ones do you like?

One conclusion I reached about grad school back in the 1980s: if they're not paying you to attend grad school (or attend anything else), is it really worth the effort?

• So ****ing busy today and it's my own fault for scheduling so many interviews
• A local facebook page is blowing up about a coyote sighting. Most of the comments are in support of leaving it alone and admiring it. About 25% of the comments are upset that animal control won't do anything about it and have the vapors about it potentially killing a small child. Its prime entertainment.
• My nephew asked me if I go with him to a concert in October since his parents said an adult had to be present so of course I agreed. What does one wear to a Playboi Carti concert?
• Also bought KC Royals tickets for said nephew for DnD/RPG night. They are giving away a KC Royals dice set and themed mini campaign book.
• Trying out a new barbershop for a haircut and beard trim this afternoon
• Have fun out there folks!

- Made some creamy chicken enchilada soup yesterday + overnight oats + brownies. It was a big day!
- Loving the weather in the Midwest, cursing my allergies.
- My last writing class is tonight for the current course.
- Wooooo sandpaper face!

I've only tried a few, but the ones that I've tried, I've liked. To me, Athletic is *really* close to regular (alcohol-included) beers.

• Mexican Style Copper
• Upside Dawn Golden
• Run Wild IPA

Sierra Nevada NA isn't too bad:

• Trail Pass IPA
• Trail Pass Golden

Some other brands that I've tried (and didn't care for):

• Bud Zero

I got paid to go to grad school the first time. This time is all on me, but it is definitely worth it.
