Is the first day of the week Sunday or Monday?

This confused me as a kid because weekEND suggested that Sunday was at the end of the week, but every calendar in the 80s had the week starting on Sunday.

As much as I try to consider Monday the start of the week, my brain still considers Sunday the first day.

How bout you?

Click on the time and date on the lower right side of your screen. It will show you that calendars still start the week with Sunday.

Also. Think about boobs. That's much more fun.

I'm retired and I loath the weekends. Every place is crowded, bad drivers in the road, fewer drink specials, just all around terrible compared to the week.

It always starts on Monday for me, how I see it in my head. And the monthly calendar starts with September. I guess because both mirror the school week/year. We always started after September 1st when I was a kid.

Yes, that's a thing. My parents are retired and my mom routinely calls me out of the blue to chat. Which I don't mind.

But one time she asked what I was doing and I said, "Well I'm at the office working."

And she goes, "Oh…I guess it is Thursday isn't it?"

It wasn't.

That is the strangest part of being retired. I almost never know what day of the week it is without looking it up on my phone or laptop. More and more, I am off more than a single day, often I am two days off, occasionally off three days. And the best part is that it doesn't matter any more, lol.
