The green has always treated me well. Did some serious work with some, but not much lately. If my livelihood were tied to power tools, I would probably go Milwaukee. Until that happens, green Ryobi is just fine by me.

As an Aggie engineer of '83 (as am I), I would have expected you to get the point better than that.

If you used humor, it's probable that an engineer won't get it.

That's ok, everyone has to start somewhere. When you grow up hopefully you can trade up to dewalt.

I've got a Ryobi recip, sander, and circumcision saw. Bought them five or six years ago and only having some slow battery fade but for the most part still working well.

My impact driver, drill, and oscillator are newer and Dewalt.

If I need something done that Ryobi can't handle, I'll just buy myself some time and pay a professional.

As a Ryobi tool guy I know that I'm not afraid to try, but if I **** it up I'm not too proud to call some one to fix it.

Yeah it's a quality tool. Only problem is you have to leave a tip when you buy one.

My wife decided we would be Ryobi long ago buy making some initial purchases but most of my heavy use tools still have cords and that gives you the freedom to give with any make.

Waste of money. Just buy a Chinese tool off of temu or Amazon. Use it once. Throw it away. Repeat.

Red or yellow. I am red guy. Been to the Milwaukee and dewalt headquarters multiple times. Both are great. Never see any other brand on a reputable contractor job site except for Hilti.

Have lots of Ryobi tools, been building the collection for years. I love being able to use the same 18v for everything and they have so many devices. I even converted my kids power wheels truck to use ryobi batteries.

Be a man. Spend twice as much on a tool you will use maybe once a year. Because otherwise you're not a real man like me. And dont forget, I'm a man.
