The magnet fishing is exactly what it sound like. Dragging a large magnet across the bottom or off a bridge. It was a lot more fun than I expected. This is the kit I bought off Amazon.

I caught several lures, hooks, sinkers, bottle caps, a Sawzall blade, and a large rusting metal pole. Nothing terribly exciting for my first try but I was able to pull a lot of trash out of the lake so I consider that a win. It's not uncommon for people to find pocket knives, phones, sunglasses, etc especially in high traffic area. Occasionally people find firearms that have been dumped for a reason. I've scouted out some overpasses to try underneath this week.
The Jose Andre omelette is one egg beaten with a spoon full of regular mayo, add a bit of butter to the dish and microwave for 30-40 second. I greased a ramekin with butter and put a little sliver in the bottom, used one tablespoon of mayo, and some salt and pepper to taste. I microwaved it for 38 seconds and topped it with some fresh grated parm. It was really good and I am kinda mad about how easy it was.
