Back in the 2010's when I was looking at the chive at work all day, they started pushing ChiveTV. I thought it was so dumb but now it's on at every bar or restaurant I go to. And honestly I can't look away. Meanwhile, I'm not sure anyone actually checks out the app anymore. I was just in it for the hot chicks back then. Anyway, they seemed to really foresee where things were headed and did a nice job with the TV product.

My parents many years ago after eating at a then brand new chain called Taco Bell said "this will never work".

lol we really know how to call them.

When I first heard about Twitter and the character limitation thing, I thought it sounded pretty dumb since we already had Facebook and could post longer messages there.

Bitcoin sounded like a dumb idea too.

I thought Mike Goodson or Stephen McGee would win a Heisman.

Yep! Outside of people that aren't on Snapchat, myself included, that is exactly how all of my kids "text".

Had a tax client who had recently dropped out of college and began putting together desktop computers and was doing very well. I went to his shop one day to drop off or pick up one of my computers and I'd always go in the back and harass one or more of his employees. He said to me to come look at something so I walked over and he clicked on something and pulls up this page and I asked what he was doing. He said, it's called the internet. And he showed me a couple of sites, I was majorly into bass tournaments so he found something on that.

I remember saying to him that was pretty cool, but I don't see much application for it. lol.

He later branched out into providing internet, at first dial up of course, and progressed to the point he was running miles and miles of fiber but has since sold it all.

I think people just got waaayyyy better at making them. I remember not loving them at first nearly as much as I do now
