I'm a Chupacabra

I've never totally grasped where the line is for furries, but maybe it's a spectrum, like most things. Is it a sex thing?

I guess it could be but most think I'm pretty odd looking!

Every few months I shave from shoulders down to toes.

That keeps me from being furry.

I always need some assistance with my gooch if anyone is interested.

There was an article about a student who claimed to be a furry back in the '90s at A&M.

I remember it because he identified as a fox, but said designing and making a costume was 'too labor intensive'. So people wrote to Mail Call ridiculing this student for his laziness.

If you think it isn't a sex thing, you need to look up 'yiffing'.

I don't know what kids these days are in that particular group, but 30 years ago, speculation was that furries were simply gay/bi people who were in deeply in the closet, so deep they were in denial, and dressing in costume and rubbing on someone else to climax was a way for them to act out their fantasies while denying who they really were.

I'm a furry, but that has more to do with my Italian and Jewish genetics than mental illness and sexual degeneracy.

My mental illness and sexual degeneracy is completely unrelated to my excessive body hair.

Therians are the weird kids that believe they're animal spirits trapped in a human body.

That was around 2004-2005. The article was called "Get Furry." I did a quick search and couldn't find it.

I remember it well because it made quite an impact on campus and within my friend group. I'd never heard of such a thing... And then I could never unhear such a thing.
