I enjoyed my weekend trip to Cheyenne last December. There's a restaurant downtown that's half restaurant/half batting cages and their burgers are pretty damn good. Forget the name but easy to find. There's a guy that's always at the front of the restaurant telling jokes while you wait in line to order. Kinda weird but maybe a Cheyenne cowboy thing

Too many meetings for a Friday

Maybe more furniture shopping early evening depending on how productive my day is before that. The tariffs have not been kind to furniture prices

Lucy Cat has an appointment with her vet at 4:30 this afternoon. I'm very worried about her. She has a sizable area on her stomach where it looks like someone shaved her. I can't imagine why her hair has fallen out. There's no fur at all. And she seemed wobbly on her feet last night. I would like for the day to pass quickly so that I can get some answers.

As soon as I posted my last message, Lucy came and jumped up into my lap. Callie immediately got jealous and is rubbing up against everything. I don't often see Lucy in the mornings. She's usually napping on the couch in the den.



EDIT - I also need to figure out how to remove an unsweetened iced tea stain from my carpet.

My dog lost hair as she got older in certain spots. She had cushings disease.

Hawaiian Bowl from F&F. Sitting in my car in a parking lot stuffing in my face before I go into a meeting.

We got pantry moths during the early part of the pandemic. Never heard of such a thing. Mentioned to my brother and he says "oh, yeah, we had those. They suck. Get those little sticky traps at the hardware store."

It worked but was irritating and slow.

Slept like a dead person until 4am. Then again until about 5:40am.

People are making poor decisions again today. Thanos could have done us some favors. Stupid Avengers. Unruly wretches.

Need a haircut. Skipped it in September. I'm overdue.

Paid bills yesterday and one at lunch today. Two more and I'm done this month! And won't have to worry about money weighing me down.

Going to the game tomorrow. Is the crowd supposed to participate in the blackout or just the team uniforms?

Back from the vet with Lucy Cat. She's okay. She has skin allergies, and it apparently itches enough that she's licked all of her fur off on part of her stomach. She has new bumps on her skin that I've been worried about, but those are sites of skin irritation. Her wobbliness is caused by a nerve ending where I was scratching her, is common, and is not related to the rest of this. All great news. I have a pill I have to give Lucy once a day for five days, and she should be okay.
