• Just went and woke up the kiddo - can't sleep their lives away (and they went to bed really early - like my kiddo was out at 9:30PM).
• My guess is we will hang out here til 1 or 2 then get on the road back to home.
• Gonna try to get some work done before we do.
• There are a group of people here for the air show. Chatted with several of them at the bar last night while watching the Aggies. Then a weirdo old man came up who wasn't with the group who kept trying to talk to me and asking weird questions. Even the old guy who I had been talking to was like WTH when that guy left.
• Looking forward to the cooler weather this week and maybe some rain late in the week.

Went to bed too late

Aussie didn't take care of her business last night on our walk. She got distracted by the young copperhead she found that struck at her. No bite, thankfully.

But then she decided she wanted to go out at 11:15pm so away we went.

Tried the new taco place this morning. Pretty good! Love the tortillas.

Knocked out a few chores. Have more to do. Need to tackle a bit of work and play guitar.

The washer is out of level I need to fix that later.

Beautiful, cloudless day today. 62F with a dew point of 33F and a nice NW breeze. Made me wish I had long sleeves on when I went grocery shopping (not quite jacket weather). I think we're done with 80F days for the rest of the year. Now I'm ready for the trees to start turning color. We're way behind in our fall foliage.

Lucy Cat took the last of her steroid pills this morning. I'm hoping that her skin is itching less. It looks like the fur is starting to regrow on her stomach.

Might go sit outside later.

Already made pizza dough. Somehow lacerated a finger earlier, of course I didn't notice it, then saw my measuring spoon turn red when I was shaking out excess yeast. Yeah. Made my dough with a glove on one hand.

Daboll has one of the most unlikable auras in all of NFL. It makes me want to fight him on sight IRL. Hope the Giants fire him into the sun soon.

- Dropped down to 60 degrees. This is dangerous weather. I hope everyone is prepared physically and mentally. Cannibalism is always an option when food stocks run out, remember.

I think it's around 55 when the skinwalkers start hunting in earnest and around 45 when the earth stops spinning and we all fly off. I don't understand it fully myself tbh, but it's science.

So yeah, 60 is close enough and upsetting me greatly.

Pizza peperoni e cipolla

I didn't want to open up a new bag of Gold Medal bread flour, so the dough is a combo of Gold Medal and King Arthur bread flour. Inflation is bringing the price of both bags pretty close together, which is interesting. One of the reasons I originally became loyal to GM is because their flour was more reasonably priced.

Rise on the crust is almost amusing.

Daughter and I went to Lupe Tortilla.
