Slept hard but not enough hours

Early meeting done. Got caught behind school buses this morning and was late

Knock some stuff out before everyone else gets here and it gets busy

It does not feel like Fall outside this morning. Not one bit

It's a good day to make good choices. Now if we can just get people to do that

  • Stuck in purgatory today because kid #1 is home with a bunch of school work
  • Seriously, nothing more that I want right now than to be at the office instead
  • Prada absolutely insists on sitting on my lap and can't be annoyed enough to get her to hop off
  • Found an injured woodpecker by the house this morning, hopefully the DNR will come get the little guy

  • Slept really good last night. Even went to bed about 30 min early. Was worried I was getting sick but nope! Feel great today.
  • Few meetings today. Work on some projects
  • Whataburger for bf
  • Travel travel travel tonight. Realized last night I surpassed my sales/commission for last year (the entire year). Would love to beat my 2023 year (highest year).
  • Not sure what will be for dinner.

Currently sunny and 55F on our way up to 62F. West wind at 21 gusting to 28 mph. It took long enough, but fall is finally here! Supposed to be 38F tonight. I am ready for some foliage.

While I would love to (and still may) , my pocketbook has been used A LOT lately and I'm sure would benefit from eating at home. But it's very possible. My mind will change in the next six hours.

My wife and I decided to go to Napa Bistro on Sunday evening just on a whim.

It's not a cheap meal but was excellent and we got two meals out of it by halving those large positions and bringing them home.

But yeah, the pocketbook can get worn out quickly!

- 45 degrees when I walked the Aussie earlier. That part was fine but the wind was so annoying!
- Two whitetail deer JUST walked across my front yard, a doe and a buck. What the hell are they doing out in the middle of the day? And in the neighborhood?!
