You can find pecan pies in Missouri, but they really aren't very good. I regret not buying one when I was in Texas in August.

We have had some pretty good ones in Southern MO. Amish store just out of West Plains has them and they are some of the best I ever had.

You do know that Missouri was a divided border state during the civil war right?
The Confederacy considered Missouri as its 12th state.
I see Confederate flags flying at homes and ranches daily.
And….there are Amish in Texas as well that make damn good pecan pies.
