61 degrees this morning in the Fort.

Pull tires and load trucks.

  • 3.4 mile jaunt. Theres one sidewalk in the neighborhood that winds over three miles, through three subdivisions, and never crosses a street. You can start and end in the same spot.
  • New yard walkway construction starts today. There are still people willing to work
  • Trimming Sego palms for the final time this year.

Wasn't ready to get up but ok

Heading to the coast to see my mom. Her birthday is tomorrow. Will see my brother and sis-in-law as well. Haven't seen them since April of '24 I think? Whenever the eclipse happened

Need to clean up and pack and get on the road

  • Fiance headed back to Dirty Myrtle when I headed out to work this morning
  • It'll be a long 5 days until she's back over here
  • Halloween party #1 was absolutely awesome. She and I went as a pilot (her) / flight attendant (me).
  • It came out really well because I found a Delta uniform that was still new with tags at a local thrift store. It was great!
  • Nails are kind of crappy looking, so I guess there's something for me to do during boring meetings today

How did you do in the race you ran Saturday?

I beat last year's time by 4 minutes! It's still between novice and intermediate, but hey I beat the time I ran it in last year

A big part of it was probably from not having IT band issues like I did last fall.

Cloudy and dark outside and currently 52F. Not supposed to rain today, but no sun either. It's 72F inside, but I'm having a terrible time staying warm this morning/early afternoon. A second cup of coffee could be in my near future.

The Chiefs play tonight. Lots of kids will be in #15 Chiefs jerseys coming out of Benny's school this afternoon.

-the model smoke detector is beeping and the electrician needs to get here right now to fix the battery.
-my lunch was a factor meal and I am not impressed. They get 2 weeks before I say they suck and are just overpriced lean cuisines.
-I fell asleep at 3am last night, so I am dragging.
-the job search continues

Factor is aggressively okay. For pre-made stuff, I actually prefer the Amazon Kitchen offerings from Amazon Fresh. Similarly priced if not a little cheaper, reasonably tasty, and no monthly subscription.

the one I had was not better than any random frozen food meal you can get at the grocery store for 3 dollars. I don't care if its 100% healthier if its not good and barely filling

I've watched some YouTube videos where the people ate nothing but Factor for a week, and they have all said that it was average at best. Some of the stuff (breakfast stuff I think) was apparently pretty bad
