Carolina barbecue isn't awful per se. it's just a lesser art form than the pinnacle that is Texas barbecue. Which is fitting, as the Carolinas, individually or collectively, are lesser than Texas.

Our plans keep changing due to my work demands and schedule and the boys hunting and fishing plans. Thanksgiving is at my house and we are doing a smoked turkey breast and a big easy turkey. I'm doing green bean casserole bc yes it might be white trash but it's the one time a year the Diesel family eats it. Mom is bringing mashed potato's gravy and stuffing. Other parents are in charge of dessert. Then it looks like Diesel family is skipping town for the coast.

I just made mac n cheese and pumpkin pie for a work thing and it cost 75 bucks.

while I believe i make these 2 dishes better than the average joe, it wouldnt have cost more to purchase.

How much Mac and cheese and pumpkin pie did you make?
