Name: Rufus
Age: 8 years old
Breed: Domestic short hair but can pass as a Russian Blue
We got Rufus from a shelter on Black Friday 2017. They were having a sale where all black pets were half off adoption fees. They pointed out he isn't a black cat but I argued that grey was really a "light" black so we got the discount.
He is a very affectionate cat that loves to cuddle with people and enjoys butt pats. At night he often insists that he sleep curled up under my arm. When he is being pet it's like a junkie getting his fix and he starts to drool uncontrollably. He will just find someone on the couch, drape himself across them, give a little huff/grunt, and then fall asleep. The effect on humans is not dissimilar to a does of melatonin. When he is getting fed he gets so excited he meows and it sounds a lot like R2D2 expressing joy/excitement. He also has a fondness for whipped cream, Ranch dressing and playing in water/shower. He is a little on the derpy/dumb side but not to the extent of an orange cat.
Overall a solid cat. 10/10 would adopt again
