Went to bed before 10pm last night. It was needed.

People are making poor choices. Creating drama and being short-sighted is not helpful.

I've had both of today's meetings. I'm oncall, but am not expecting much action (knock on wood).

Watched "Patrick: Evil Awakens" last night. It only has a 4.9 on imdb, but I really enjoyed it. It's an Australian horror film, and I loved the accents!

Watching the goings on in Ann Arbor, MI as Michigan head football coach Sherrone Moore has been fired, with cause, for a romantic relationship with a university staffer. He was arrested last night as part of an assault investigation in a local township. It's turning into a compelling drama.

A package I ordered over Thanksgiving has arrived at the same USPS distribution center in Springfield, MA three times in eight days.

Wife had morning outpatient surgery. I waited of course, and the coffee was so bad I might swear off coffee for oh, 5-6 hours till the memory of that awful Donut Shop coffee is gone.

• I might actually have some time this evening to get some outdoor decorations up
• My dad asked me to have a gift for my mom sent to my house so she doesn't see it. The gift in question is 10 pounds of assorted steaks. I don't think he has any idea what my mom wants for Christmas.

Margo was not amused by my music choices during her afternoon nap (early aughts pop punk)

The cat obviously prefers the dulcet tones of Pawvarotti singing Christmas arias. Congrats on being fortunate enough to be adopted by a black cat.

Margo is 3 years old and we got her from a friend who indoor/outdoor cat had a litter. She has never lived a day of her life on the street yet acts like she has no idea where her next meal is coming from. You really have to earn her affection though and she will act as though she wants to be pet (she does) and then immediately recoil 5 seconds after you start to pet her. Basically a pretty normal cat.

At night she will not lay down and go to sleep until we are in bed and ready to go to sleep. It's like she has to make sure we are tucked in first so she can relax.

We named her after the neighbor in Christmas Vacation. Sometimes when she meows out of nowhere and i don't know what she wants, I'll responds, "I don't know, MARGO!"
