It's gorgeous, and I think a lot of people don't realize what a huge impact it had on the animation industry. We've gotten so much more cool exploration in style in mainstream animated films because of it.

Yikes. Outcome has been in my queue for a while (mostly due to the cast) but I didn't realize it was that bad.
But at least it wasn't "unreleasable", which has to be another level of terrible considering movies I've seen actually make it theaters.
Wasn't there a Batgirl movie that had the same fate a few years ago? Never saw the light of day?

Caught the premiere of this back in February. Big recommend.
I'm not sure this particular movie is for me (I liked The Witch and The Northman) but man, Eggers has one of the most distinctive styles of filmmaking out there. Really unique.
I liked The Witch and Nosferatu.

The best part of that movie (aside from Mila Kunis being in absolute peak form) is the Hawaiian setting. I wonder if the sequel will take place there.
