Perhaps my favorite Bruce/Harvey moment in Batman lore is in DARK VICTORY where Batman tells Alfred, "I was going to tell him my secret." Bruce and Harvey's friendship is so important to the Batman/Two-Face dynamic and I hope to see that depicted faithfully here onscreen.

Some fun BATMAN PART II speculation (just speculation): You don’t go after Brad Pitt to just play “the Dad.” I think Christopher Dent will be the ultimate bad guy - and a villainous member of the Gotham elite makes me think they’re doing the Court of Owls.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all if Gilda’s a Phantasm-like presence. She may not be precisely the Holiday Killer, but I suspect she’ll definitely have blood on her hands.

I agree. I think they blew their budget with ScarJo so they’ll cast a Ed Harris type for Papa Dent. If they locked Pitt down early, they would have offered Gilda to a smaller name like Jessie Buckley.

Papa Dent will be played by a Turturro level and just as important as he was. https://t.co/NAgyh3fddz

I've also have been seeing speculation - in more than one place, which could lead some credence to the idea - that Barry Keoghan's Joker isn't actually the Joker, but rather an acolyte of the Joker. Since he was technically never referred to as the Joker in-movie, if Reeves wanted to go a different direction, with, say, a bigger actor in the third movie, with a different look, maybe Keoghan's character in Part II is simply some kind of acolyte/fanboy/harbinger of the real deal. Which is an idea I would be for, seeing as I thought the inclusion/look of the character was the only slight misstep in The Batman.
