Great episode this week, and a damn good season overall so far. God, I love this show.

Btw, the closing credits song this week (below) is from a guy I've been following on social media for a while now, Josiah Leming. He had a great cover that got my attention years ago, so I started following him, and at the time he was dirt poor, living in a friend's spare bedroom, chasing his dream of trying to make it as a working artist. Since then he's gone on to have a ton of online success, enough to start touring, now culminating in him playing over a scene with Harrison freaking Ford in it, on a hit Apple show. Pretty cool to see...

This was the cover that initially caught my attention, for anyone interested...

I was like, "Wait a minute, was that..."

The whole thing with Paul and "The Field" is so funny too. I'm surprised Ford agreed to it, but he seems to be having fun playing it up.

That guy was on American Idol about twenty years ago.

Oh, nice. I had no idea.

Yeah, but Ted Lasso left me happy after each episode. That's why it was a perfect show to watch every friday night after a long week.

This show has a lot more sadness to. It's like every episode of Shrinking is that episode of Ted Lasso where we discover why Ted thinks he has to be constantly exude happiness.

Yup, kind of show where you have to watch out for the left hook.

I feel a big one is coming.

Just finished the first episode of the season. I had somehow missed the news about Michael j fox - what a gut punch that ending was. This is the best show on tv IMO. So funny, so perfectly written, and so many amazing characters.

I am kinda sad that cobie smulders is joining the cast. I know she didn't write HIMYM but every time I see her I am reminded of how much I hated how that show ended and I hold a grudge like Liz does.

I'm not ashamed to admit that the "enjoy the ride, kid" line that Harrison Ford told the baby at the end of that episode made me ugly cry.

What a great line!

I watched a couple episodes this season, but then tuned out. It was kind of starting to feel a bit repetitive. Does it pick up?

The current season is season 3 and only 4 episodes have released (5 comes out tomorrow).

I feel like they have all been pretty different, aside from the topic of Paul's health that is a common theme in all of them.

This is clearly a very popular show and I don't knock anyone for liking it, but it is just not for me. I honestly don't like any of the characters (Wendie Malick and the Wayans guy are tolerable).

I love the star wars an Indiana Jones jokes they throw in.

it's a great show but can see why people don't like it.

Just finished the most recent episode. Wish I could say I was surprised by the news in the phone call at the very end, but unfortunately I had a feeling there had been too many happy resolutions so far this season and we were due for a big whallup.

That's what I mean about this show. It makes me literally laugh out loud and feel good, but it also has way more downers than Ted Lasso that just stop all of those good feelings in their tracks.

The left hook.

Love that girl's voice but her presence was foreboding…

I couldnt stand her voice! And the last episode pretty much teed the ending.

I cannot emote enough how much I adore this show.
