Wife said the same. It's definitely a different type of story, so I'm glad they may be leaning into it.

I was worried how it'd be received since it's not as epic as the other shows, but this trailer made me very optimistic.

As someone who knows nothing about this story and was neutral on the existence of the show, this indeed looks legit. New vibe, familiar world, fun characters, compelling story. Can't wait.

I had hoped - more than 10 years ago - that since he has clearly decided not to finish ASOIAF that maybe he would continue to write Dunk and Egg stories, but since the 4th one was supposedly "75% done" in 2012 - and yet never released - it defies logic to think that he has any plans to publish another one.

This trailer looks like it could be a fun series. I hope the writers have some good ideas for where to take it when they run out of source material.

At least the writers have a little extra info about these characters based on the overall history of Westeros even if they don't come from another Dunk and Egg story.

While we wait for Dunk and Egg, the illustrated edition of A Feast for Crows is possibly AI slop.

I ran the Euron kingsmoot pic through an AI detector and it came back with a 78% chance it is AI.

Come to your own conclusion. At best, this is terrible, TERRIBLE art. The chacters don't even look like they should. Euron has some fancy sigils on his chest and belt but they don't look like the Greyjoy kraken.

Some of the faces are obvious AI -- if it was trained on Benjamin Knox. There are other tells. So bad, but great trainwreck!
