Watched this yesterday on HBO Max and I thought it was great. It felt like a combination of Black Hawk Down and 13 hours, it was super intense and almost all of the movie took place inside one house. Two thumbs way up on this one, especially if you're a fan of war movies.

I just finished watching this on HBO a little while ago. If you have never been in combat and want to know what it is like, WARFARE is the most realistic portrayal of combat I have ever seen in a movie other than Restrepo which was a documentary. The only other movie that comes close is The Outpost. Once I started watching it, I couldn't stop watching it. I was on my 3rd deployment to Iraq in 2006, serving as the ABE (Assistant Brigade Engineer) NCOIC for 2nd Brigade Combat Tream, 1AD. I was sent to Ramadi on emergency orders and was there for just over a month serving as Task Force Engineer for TF 1-35ARMOR. Ramadi was rough. Several Soldiers I knew died in Ramadi. Being as I spent time in Ramadi, this movie hit home. I'll know later tonight if it was a bad idea for me to watch it

Thank you for all you and your buddies went through, huge respect.

This movie really stuck with me. In the theater the sound was overwhelming. This is one of a few movies that was I'd say was well-made in every respect, but that I have zero desire to see again, at least not for now.
