I really enjoyed all of the Hanibal books. Hanibal Rising gives a good insight on how he became who he is. Seeing your reading history, and knowing you enjoyed Silence, you should read the other books.

The Hunt for Red October
Figured I'd start my Clancey rabbit hole. I've read Patriot Games and Rainbow Six years and years ago and enjoyed them a lot but decided I should just start at the beginning. Or near enough.
I know Red October was written ages ago and Clancey was not the powerhouse he would become yet, but I was surprised at the number of editing mistakes and some of the misues of terminology. Clip instead of magazine, no capitalization of President (When used as a noun) nor Marine Corps (Always has me punching air) and just the number of typos.
Nit picking really and I don't recall R6 having that issue so figure over time and experience and better editing it was all fixed.
Great read though. On to the next Jack Ryan adventure!

When his books were first published, my boss got me started on The Hunt for Red October, and I was hooked, at least through The Teeth of the Tiger. I did start rereading them in 2021 and got through Debt of Honor, then read Rainbow 6 because it was so good. I didn't finish the reread, but it was good to revisit the world of Jack Ryan.
If you haven't read Red Storm Rising, it's worth the time.

Still shocked this one was not made into a movie

Call of the Wild. 3.5 hours on audible. Wasn't a big fan tbh but I think I'm at that point in life where I need all my dog stories to be happy.
I also rolled my eyes a little as Buck became the ultimate badass dog, hauling 1000 lbs and killing a bear for fun. Come on.

Dog stories from the past rock! Did a reread of where the red fern grows a few months ago because it came up in conversation. Held up reasonably well from 40 odd years ago.
