Just got a notification of new episode. Thought that was tomorrow. Regardless, E6-8 are out. I thought there were only 5 out.

Apple usually releases the evening of the day before the actual release date from what I've seen. I've watched all of these on Tuesday nights.
Episode 8 coming June 3rd. But these two episodes released tonight (6&7) were pretty damn good.

Yeah, we just finished 6 and 7. I thought 8 was out but it's not. Its on the app with future release date.
This show is damn good
The version of Richard Warren back from buried alive was comedic gold
So have we determined what entity Richard Warren made the pact with? Is it the island itself, a demon, Satan, witches? Also, where did the bodies go?
The focus on the painting with the child struggling in the waves...is she going to turn out to be a surviving child of Richard Warren, and therefore the curse continues?
Having suspended my disbelief that there's a living man who has lived in a buried coffin for the past 300 years, I was surprised to find he spoke modern English and did not seem at all taken aback by the existence of electric lighting, combustion engines or un-puritanical women's fashion.
It's a good show overall.

I lost it when Patricia handed Matt Rhys the notepad, and then what was written on the notepad. The comedy is so great and unexpected, but it lands so well.

I enjoyed the "F*** you!" exchange between the Mayor and Warren in the coffin on the boat.
The physical comedy of Tom in that bedroom with Warren combined with Patricia's interruptions was amazing.
I also liked the police chiefs reaction after she told him what was going on. All I could hear him saying was, "You white people are crazy. I'm out."

lol you had to have captions on but there was also a "Imma stick my "Richard" in your mouth" from Warren during the rustle in the boat.
lol whole scene had me laughing.
Has nobody else watched this week's episode? I kept waiting for it to be her hallucinating again.

We watched it last night. Totally awesome. Blatant callback to Halloween which I loved.
It was kind of a letdown after last week but they had to develop the story a little more

That was one of those moments where the second it came up it was definitely not gonna happen. Although I guess it depends on the timeline of the show. I could see it being how the season closes is them at the game.

I keep trying to explain this show to my wife and siblings and it's hard to say it's half scary, creepy and suspenseful with hilarity intertwined

I always tell people this show is like The Evil Dead; humerous horror genre.

Wife and I caught a few episodes last night. She's enjoying it more than I am, but the last time I saw Katie Dippold and Neil Casey's name together was the female Ghostbusters reboot. I'm wondering why they couldn't have brought this level of engagement to that movie?
