How long do you want to ignore this user?
I don't think it would be that hard for students to organize mass rallies or protests or whatever it takes to get university officials to allow bonfire on campus, granted the the size of the stack is safe and approved by engineers. I really believe that there is enough student support to pull it off and enough former student support to fund something like this, all it would take is somebody to step up and take it on

what if it remained "unofficial", was sponsored by some Ag owned companies, and was held at the Race track every year....students get in free, everyone else pays 2 bucks x 40,000 = some money to help with expenses????

husband and pred, unless it's "Real" Bonfire, you can't use those figures as estimates for what you would receive for the event you are proposing. You would rather have to look at the attendance that ASB is drawing. Which if I'm not way off would be in the area of 5-8K.
