I'm reading Thirty Steps to Heaven: The Ladder of Divine Ascent for All Walks of Life, which is essentially a commentary on St. John Climacus' The Ladder of Divine Ascent for laypeople. Came across this much needed reminder last night:

It's an inspiring verse.

It's also depressing knowing He isn't having to count as high as He did 5-10 years ago.
