This is classic cherry picking. Read everything he has said and you may come away with a different impression.
I'm not talking open borders. Yet what I am encouraged about is the gradual inclusion of all elements of Church teaching on immigration from Rome as well as bishops and priests state side. I'm confident we'll be hear the truth about the duties of immigrants towards their prospective new homeland that necessarily accompanies the general right to emigrate.
