Yes. Apologies. I should have offered more context.

It's a very good discussion. Two giant intellects in their respective fields sharing their ideas and common interests without crossing the line into inappropriate conversation about substantive issues of cases currently before the court.

They also get into natural law and other interesting things.

Just finished the interview. Extremely interesting. Justice Barrett seems like a great lady.

Something I've been wanting to sit down and read/think about that they went over a little bit is the relationship between faith and how it should influence your job, particularly at levels of adjudicating and policy making. Barrett was adamant that her decisions are based on her view of the law, but I'm interested in thinking about how much people of faith should allow their beliefs to influence their work

One thing I think we can all take from it is that in most situations it is OK to despise an idea but not the person. It's always important to try and see a unique creature made in God's image and likeness even when we find what they espouse as reprehensible.
