I got interested in this book after watching VDH interview of Raymond.

The two swords come from Luke 22:36, 38. I'm hooked and it's nice short chapters so it makes it easier for me to continue to read multiple books serially at same time. It is a very readable book with several scripture references.

Ibrahim has done an admirable job of exposing Karen Armstrong's bull**** historical narrative that pervades every corner of academia. Big fan.

Started reading Ibrahim's Sword and Scimitar recently - it's been interesting and informative, if not a little difficult with the many Muslim names. But, I'm enjoying it. I'll give this one a look too -

I have that book coming in January. I'm looking forward in 2026 to learning more about an area of history that I don't know much about.
