The presenter moves at a fast pace. I never explored this question seriously but the presenter was interesting. Do you know of logical fact/reason backed arguments against this man's theory? My first reaction was that if true it must be the greatest conspiracy in the world.

No. Unless somehow Jews all magically became white over 2000 years. Probably dark skinned though from being outside so much. And ugly (Is. 53:2).

Sounds very Black Hebrew-esque (Hebrew Israelite).

I've always just deferred to the Jewosh heritage on this one.

Beyond historical accuracy and interest I dont fully get why it's important to some. Should I care?

It's so that SJWs can claim that Rome was racist in its crucifixion sentencing.

It is an interesting phenomena that different cultures often depict Jesus as looking like themselves in their art. It's not just the white, European looking Jesus we're all familiar with that fits in this category either. I've seen black Jesuses (what is the plural for Jesus?), Indian Jesuses, Asian Jesuses, and so on. Everybody seems to want to believe in a Jesus that looks like them.

Indeed. Well, maybe more like "the ideal man" by the society's standards. Because if Jesus were short, fat, and bald, people would be less willing to worship him. (Counterargument: Buddhism)

I don't care but a very credible source, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, informs us that "little baby Jesus" was blonde and blue eyes.

You know how I know Jesus wasn't black? He turned water into wine instead of purple drank.

Considering God the Father provided half (or all) of his DNA, Jesus could have been any race. He wasn't limited by Mary's DNA.

And considering His appearance was that of a despised man, he was probably whatever race and appearance would be most despised so he could relate to the least of humans.

That's an interesting thought…

Whacky probably but interesting.

Matt. 13:55 Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And are not his brothers James and Joseph and Simon and Judas?

John 4:9 The Samaritan woman said to him, "How is it that you, a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a woman of Samaria?" (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)

He looked Jewish.

I dont know what color he was but he sure as hell didn't look like the statue the Catholics have pinned up on the front wall of the church.

Probably brown, not black. I would imagine he looks like the Jews native to North Africa and the middle East more so than the Jews that moved there from Europe after WWII.

Given the history of the nation of Israel being from the Middle East, why assume he'd be any darker than someone in Syria or Lebanon, or the Mediterranean cost generally?

Lots of politically brainwashed Americans on here…

Jesus was 100% not black. They would have said it.

The man had a tan. How much I don't know but he wasn't Arab brown either.

Insane you people even fall for this or even entertain the losers who want to race bait.

Agreed, because the whole idea of "black" as a racial designation is fairly new compared to Jesus' time.
