Governor pardons couple who defended their home from BLM protesters
Quote:

Missouri's governor issued a pardon on Friday to Mark and Patricia McCloskey, the St. Louis couple who drew national attention last year after they pointed guns at BLM protestors who had surrounded their property.

"I'd do it again. Any time the mob approaches me, I'll do what I can to put them in imminent threat of physical injury because that's what kept them from destroying my house and my family," Mark said outside of the St. Louis courthouse last year. Both pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault and harassment charges. They were also forced to pay a $2,750 fine and surrender their firearms.
This will cause a good bit of REEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., was outraged Wednesday by the pardons given to the St. Louis couple who wielded guns as Black Lives Matter protesters marched in their neighborhood last year, saying Mark McCloskey's "day will come."

Bush, who was among the marchers in their neighborhood, told CNN the pardons of the McCloskeys by Republican Missouri Gov. Mike Parson were "absolutely unbelievable."

"Mark McCloskey is an absolute liar," she said. "He has spat on my name. And because of that, his day will come. You will not be successful in all that you're trying to do, when you are hurting the very people that are out trying to save lives He can try it, but I will not stand by and allow him or our governor to hurt the very people that are doing the work that they should be doing."

Surrender firearms my ***. Should have never been charged in the first place, but that is what you get with a DA bought and paid for by George Soros.

But in fairness, they need some firearms training, especially with respect to trigger control.

You can't fix stupid.

It's possible that the governor in Missouri cannot pardon until a guilty plea or conviction.

Agreed. Also that someone like the below can keep their elected position.

Then tell them that.
Have them plea no contest.
Then pardon.

And yet Lamar Johnson is still in prison for a crime he did not commit, and the state's eyewitness to the crime was paid off by the cops to say he did it and the state made up other evidence. Also, two others have confessed to the murder. But he's still in prison.

That's awful. I seriously don't understand how something like that is allowed to continue to stand much less happen in the first place.

Big reason why I did a complete 180 on the death sentence years back. I don't trust the government at all.

It means once the Marxists get enough control, whitey gonna pay. Whitey is starting to pay in numerous instances, see Daniel Perry in Austin and others.
