The good news is that Comey is paying through the nose in legal fees. What comes around goes around.

He'll be able to recoup it through Trumps IRS settlement fund
Why? Comey is a criminal who attempted to overthrow the President. He should be tried and sentenced to a just demise.

True, but Enrique Tarrio fits that description also! And he's in line!

Trump's Save America PAC spent north of $60 million in legal fees by mid-2024. I believe he's still spending money on lawyers trying to get the ridiculous NY judgment tossed.

I don't care if it's considered petty/vindictive by the leftists, I want Comey and Commie insurrectionists far and wide to be forced to spend as much as possible in the 'process' of defending themselves.

lead prosecutor on the case withdraws from this and all cases he was on.

I believe he had no prosecution experience of any kind before being hired months ago

They need to suffer in any way possible for what they've done. Hard to prove in court, but the stress and expense of paying lawyers is nothing to sneeze at.

Ever since the beginning of the written word, what is written is open to interpretation. Interpretation of the Bible has resulted in numerous denominations and interpretation of the Constitution has resulted in numerous political parties. The term "86" has many different interpretations which is why the attempt to indict Comey the first time failed. With so many interpretations, you can't prove intent.

There is no question what Comey wants. He was deeply involved in a coup to overthrow Trump. There's nothing to interpret.

Regarding to 86 something: it means it's out of stock. If an item gets 86'd it means removed because it out of stock for whatever reason. There is no other use of the term 86 other than "get rid of" or "remove" or "kill." Anyone claiming otherwise is FOS or ignorant & needs better sources.

Deleting it so quickly told you all you need to know. He realized what it meant and what he was doing

Here's some fun trivia. Remember when Martha Stewart got basically railroaded for what was essentially nothing - and certainly nothing worthy of the level of attention she got.

The DA who wanted to make his name and progress his career going after someone famous? A famous conservative?

James Comey.

At the time it seemed like justice. After seeing the story on this and finding out who Comey really is it was such a ridiculous injustice! Martha has some issues but inside stock trading isn't one of them especially compared to Congress and the people currently making moves related to oil.

which is in part why these charges aren't going to stick against comey

When you put in a saying to AI and it gives you three plus different definitions it's obvious this is going nowhere. Also case precedent says the defendant gets the benefit of doubt.
This is likely only to give Comey another several million on his next book deal! Bondi was a joke and they are still getting outplayed by Comey.

I wonder if bubblegirlbath even realizes his own words in his X post demonstrate why the protestors sign is not a true threat.

If they did stick against Comey, shouldn't everyone who used the same thing be prosecuted?

As well as everyone who used the same 86 about others including Biden?

I assume that for it to stick, there would have to be other things said by Comey to support the allegation. There is such ambiguity in the term that without additional evidence, it wouldn't seem likely that he could be prosecuted for it.

No, because context matters.
