Except the right to vote in elections for a scumbag politician who doesn't represent me, what do I get?

An American gets taxed more because the government wants my foreign earnings too.

There's no advantage when it comes to employment it seems with all these foreigners getting jobs. There's no advantage in housing as Americans are competing with foreigners in this country and outside on homes. Americans don't get better healthcare or social services than foreigners. Maybe fewer restrictions but it's mostly the same. And foreigners are exempt from certain civic obligations.

This is bullcrap! America should be for Americans! What other country treats a foreigner on equal footing and sometimes better than their own citizens? This is the best club in the world and we've allowed easy access for foreigners to loot our country.

Put a tax on non-citizens purchasing a home. Put a tax hiring a foreigner. Gives Americans priority for any government assistance. Give American citizen a discount on tuition at government funded public universities vs a foreigners tuition.

To Make American Great Again, let's make it easier to be an American in our own homeland.

In this day and age, you get a lot less than an illegal invader.

They get $$$ for free
They get government benefits without having paid in anything
They get free phones
They get free housing
They get free legal representation for pretty much any court appearance.
They take our jobs
Free education(without paying in)
The get activist judges to help them not get deported
They get activist judges that hide, or help them escape law enforcement.

I am sure I am missing many more.

$30K in migrant housing aid has Dem gov on hot seat for 'revolving door' policy

Quote:

While she is shutting down her sanctuary state's migrant shelters, critics are accusing Democratic Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey of simply shifting the costs over to a program that makes migrants eligible to receive at least $30,000 in housing assistance over two years.

The Boston Herald reported in June that the Healey administration had increased spending in Massachusetts' HomeBASE program to $97 million in 2025, up from $9.5 million in 2022, according to state data.

The outlet reported that eligible families in the Massachusetts-run shelter system were being provided with $30,000 in rental assistance over two years. According to the Herald, the total caseload for HomeBASE increased under Healey from 1,473 in January 2023 to 7,767 in April 2025, more than a 400 percent increase. The outlet also said that some eligible families could qualify for an additional $15,000 in a third year of assistance but that state officials planned to pause third year assistance in July.

Her office denies what is being reported but I don't believe her because progs lie. I hope she bankrupts that state and causes her constituents pain.

Why do you say they don't have the right to vote? There's a voter registration category in Arizona that doesn't require proof of citizenship to vote for congress and president. It's called Proposition 200 and passed in 2004.

It's not in anyway right and the left knows it. They're all Marxists at heart and have been implementing the Cloward-Piven strategy for decades. Their goal is to overload and collapse the system so they can rebuild America as a communist state. They should all be stood up against the wall.

Before Donald Trump threw a wrench in the unipartys plans, the plan was to flood the country with enough illegals to permanently make a blue electoral map (Texas was the primary target for obvious reasons). Republicans gave lip service but did nothing for the border because of their rich donors.

Biden got to split the book ends of Trump, and we saw the real plan without any pretext. Biden's admin opened the border completely in a last ditch effort to flood the country and grant amnesty. Unfortunately for the left, Trump won.

So I understand your frustration and it's true but take comfort that our current admin is fighting against it.

What you get is a moral obligation and to oppose corrupters. Congrats. Often times being a man means you put aside "fairness" to shoulder responsibilities.

The reason that good times create weak men is because they are shaped in an environment which rewards conformity. These men adopt comfort seeking behaviors. Like asking what your country can do for you.

Americans get the privilege of electing grifters bought and paid for by AIPAC. The federal government is little more than a gatekeeper for transferring your wealth to foreign interests. Oh yeah, it's also a socialist jobs program for unqualified people better suited for the jobs being done by illegal aliens who shouldn't even be here.

Think it depends on legal versus illegal immigration.
There's not much difference, if any, aside from the ability to vote, and the potential power of a US passport, which depending on where the immigrant has come from may or may not be more powerful than their own passport. There's same goes for Americans who move aboard. I'm talking legal immigration here. Many countries in the west, there's no higher tax rate for a resident American vs citizen. And you're usually entitled to healthcare and benefits as their citizens are. The one negative, and it is the US governments fault, is you as an American, or even a US resident who moves overseas for work, has to pay taxes in the country you're moving to, but also declare taxes in the USA and potentially, owe the US government money, even if you're not living there:

"The United States is one of only a few countries alongside Eritrea that taxes its citizens and permanent residents on their worldwide income, even if they live and work abroad. If you move overseas, you must still file a U.S. federal tax return each year, reporting all income from both U.S. and foreign sources. You may qualify for the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion (FEIE), which allows you to exclude a certain amount of foreign-earned income, and/or claim a Foreign Tax Credit to offset taxes paid to another country, but you may still owe U.S. tax if your foreign taxes are lower or certain types of income aren't covered. Most countries instead use residence-based taxation, meaning they tax you only if you reside there or earn income locally."

Sadly there is nothing that is of benefit to being an American than not. If I was an Indian H1B, I would be airdropped into San Francisco or Seattle, set up in a job where I am trained at the American client's expense (called shadow resource), sent to different locations. Americans have to struggle in their own country.

Voting? Who cares? What does that get us anyway. Another #$%^#@ in office who will sell us out.

Indian H1Bs also get their social security refunded, one H1B told me 20 years ago that India worked out a deal with the US, not sure how true it is.

Tariff the hell out of companies who hire overseas and H1Bs.

I demand that all H1Bs and Green Card holders be registered with the Selective Service (women included) and they have to spend at least 6 months overseas on assignment. If there is a draft, they are first in line.

You want to work here, you have to pay your dues that citizens do and more. Else you are free to GTFO back to your own countries.

20 years ago, I was having a convo with an H1B at my company. He was telling me how "unfair" it was for H1Bs to be charges social security when they would never use it. I said think of it as a tax for the opportunity to work in the US. Something to help the local community. If he felt it was excessive, he could work in his own country. His position was "why should I contribute if I don't get it back?".

Some months later, he came to me in a jubilant mood telling me India worked out a deal with the US so that H1Bs can get some kind of refunds on their SS tax. Not sure how true or what the conditions around that was, but the attitude of H1Bs is to fleece you. Many of them lie on their resumes to get jobs or have other unethical ways of getting them and then send most of their money back to India. Lose lose for America as a country and this has gone on for far too long.

H-1Bs are wreaking havoc on American workers
https://thehill.com/opinion/immigration/5443667-h-1bs-are-wreaking-havoc-on-american-workers/

Quote:

When it comes to immigration, there's a refrain that periodically arises with respect to new immigrants: "They're even more American than us," or something to that effect. And if immigration causes any ill effects on Americans already here such as disruptions in the economy or employment environment they are reminded that they should just grit their teeth and "learn to code."

Unfortunately, that advice may no longer be helpful. Layoffs in the tech industry for 2025 had already exceeded 80,000 as of July, according to estimates. Although the public may know the tech climate has been bleak, they haven't heard much about the causes.

Corporate executives have been eager to insinuate that AI is driving the employment environment. Amazon CEO Andy Jassy said in June that there would "be fewer people doing some of the jobs that the technology actually starts to automate."
However, Jassy did not mention another factor the employment data indicate that Amazon has led corporate America in spurning U.S. workers in favor of foreign-born alternatives.

The company's main operating arm submitted 31,817 Labor Condition Applications for H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas in the second quarter of fiscal 2025, according to data published by the Labor Department's Office of Foreign Labor Certification. The number grows higher to 40,757 if one accounts for Amazon Web Services, the company's cloud-management division.

NVIDIA placed a distant second with 27,244 applications. Other top offenders included Goldman Sachs, which used three entities to file more than 26,000 applications. There's also Microsoft (14,181 applications) and Apple (8,393 applications).

Labor Condition Applications allow companies to fill roles based in the U.S. with foreign laborers. They recently came under fire from Vice President JD Vance. Alluding to Microsoft's announcement of layoffs weeks earlier, Vance said at an event, "You see some Big Tech companies where they'll lay off 9,000 workers, and then they'll apply for a bunch of overseas visas." He added that he "just found out" and had "not yet had that conversation with Microsoft."

In a statement, Microsoft denied that Americans had been laid off as a result of their foreign alternatives, pointing to the fact that it had also reduced its H-1B workforce.
