COUNT 1: 18 U.S.C. sub sec 241 - Conspiracy Against Right of Religious Freedom at Place of Worship

COUNT 2: 18 U.S.C. sub sec 248(a) (b), sub sec 2(a) - FACE Act: Injure, Intimidate, and Interfere with Exercise of Right of Religious Freedom at a Place of Worship.

Here is what ChatGPT says about penalties to count 1:

Quote:

18 U.S.C. 241 (Conspiracy Against Rights) penalties involve fines, imprisonment for up to 10 years, or both. If the conspiracy results in death, or involves kidnapping, attempted murder, or aggravated sexual abuse, penalties increase to a fine, imprisonment for any term of years or life, or the death penalty.
Key details regarding 18 U.S.C. 241 penalties:
  • Basic Penalty: Up to 10 years in prison and/or a fine.
  • Enhanced Penalty: Life imprisonment or the death penalty may apply if the violation results in death, kidnapping/attempted kidnapping, or aggravated sexual abuse/attempted abuse.
  • Scope: This statute applies to conspiracies by two or more persons to injure, threaten, or intimidate individuals in the free exercise of constitutional or federal rights.
  • No Overt Act Required: Unlike many conspiracy statutes, 241 does not require an overt act to be committed in furtherance of the conspiracy.
This statute is a key tool used by the Department of Justice to prosecute violations of civil rights.

Let's keep this thread going until there are actually any real consequences (NOT ARRESTS followed by prompt releases only for publicity purposes). Lunatics who are inclined to invade and terrorize churches are now more emboldened. Not less. Because they see there are no consequences. Lunatics who consider this type 'protest' couldn't care less about getting arrested. In fact they want it because it gives them notoriety and street cred amongst the lunatic fringe. Again, let us know when the authorities facilitate actual consequences.

Just following up at your request.

Found any amount of humility yet?

Uncle?

Or I could just continue to bump again.

And time again
Time and time again
Time and time and time and time again.

I know "I told you so" is kind of petty, but if I can't be pleased by the outcome of this thread, then I can't please myself.

As a Christian I am not sure I agree with prosecution. No one was harmed.

I would pray, for an obvious miracle, that these people find God.

Prosecute now or it'll continue to escalate

This, best deal with it now, or the crazies out there will try to normalize it. Need to throw the book at Don Lemon especially, so the message is sent.

After reading the affidavit and the rest, this is such a bad take. Will this person come back and eat the crow though?

Lemon is a marxist and supports all groups that want to destroy our country. Lemon is evil. All evil comes from satan.

They go to a class to learn how to protest and Lemon helped organize this. It is horrible that they went after the pastor and scared the children. As a Christian, I don't want people doing that illegal stuff in my church. Neither does God!
