With the controversy surrounding LX's halftime show I'm surprised there aren't a lot more companies attempting counter programming like that YouTube Halftime show they had in 2015. Even the Puppy Bowl airs in its entirety before the Super Bowl begins.

I like the product on the field so I will watch at least some of the game. My mom is a multi decade Seahawks fan so I am happy mom gets to see her Hawks in the big game. At 81 she's of the "may be the last time" mindset.

I never watch the halftime shows, sh** politics or not. Won't be watching the TPUSA show either. Not my thing.

That said, the actual halftime show should have been Metallica.

Superbowl halftime has officially been my queue to go check the meat smoker for the past... 15 years probably? Only one I've watched in that time was the LA/90s hiphop reunion.

Just to be difficult, Im going to tell all my Republican friends that I watched Bad Bunny. And all my Democrat friends that I watched Kid Rock and the Oakridge Boys.

I'll probably watch Bad Bunny b/c the backup dancers will likely be 1000X better looking than the TP one.

Super bowl halftime has become the new CrossFit. People will tell you they didn't watch it even if you don't care or didn't ask.

I was hoping they went the phil wickam/brandon lake route. Guess we are just not watching the superbowl at all at my house.

It is no longer family friendly, even the "family friendly" halftime show will feature artists who feature lewd behavior and alcohol.

I used to love the superbowl and now I guess I'm just not in a demographic they care about.

I don't even know which teams are playing in the Super Bowl. College football is where it's at. For now.
