I'm guessing you haven't seen Hank in concert lately. Saw him at the rodeo a couple years ago, and he was terrible.

Saw him about 6 years ago in The Woodlands and it was dreadful.

I just miss him as the MNF theme.

Why are people so infatuated with hating Charlie Kirk's widow?

Probably because she seemingly "grieved" for all of 30 seconds before going on a nationwide tour to grift money off of her husband's death while wearing tight leather pants. That'd be my guess, anyway.

hateful brainwashed psychopaths see it this way I guess. using her grief to continue her husband's work can be seen as grifting money off her husband's death if you're really sick. the same people who celebrated watching blood gush out of Charlie's neck as his soul left his body really want to keep hating because his widow is pissed and on a mission.

As opposed to the NFL's strategy of "Quick, which pop or rap artist can we get to lip sync while the dancers hump the air in the background and we spell out some crap about unity on the field while we sell a lot of ads?"

that's the american way baby

Kid Rock singing behind an American flag defiantly while people like you complain is more of the 'American way' than something that resembles an R-rated version of the Olympic opening ceremonies...but that's just me.

You're not wrong on that first part, but Kid Rock's entire schtick throughout his career has been R-rated. Much of his music is vulgar so its just a different offensiveness to the "American Way", however that is defined.

But then again, if he sings Welcome To The Party, I might just let my kids learn about things you can do in a hot tub.

I agree the people you describe are attacking her full stop. But, I also think you are minimizing the attack and what is actually going on. I have only become aware of this recently through my wife who has all kinds of stuff popping up on her socials. Some of these are as seemingly harmless as Erika lying about who she dated pre-Charlie. Others are as damning as linking her to his "fake" assasination. It is clear to me that there is an effort to turn conservative women against Erika/TPUsa.

My wife follows many of the same "things" I do and consumes much the same media, generally, as I do on the socials. Politically, at least. I may have a few more hunting and fishing data ponts in my algorithim whilst hers are crafts and BRAVO TV (I know, I have tried, not worth it, and trust me).

I get none of it and she gets it all. No doubt this has been identified as a potential path to turning women to the dark side before mid-terms. Fortunately my wife is very bright and sees it for what it is. I guarantee you that is not the case for all.

Sometimes regular people go a bit mental when someone close to them dies suddenly with no warning or time to prepare. Many have to go through some kind of counseling, some even are voluntarily committed. For celebrities this sometimes plays out for the world to see in real time (see Kanye West after his mom's death).

And this is for people who didn't see their loved one pass via a grotesque lethal wound right in front of them and have it discussed on every TV and radio station.

Erica Kirk isn't doing anything clearly insane, but she will likely do many things that seem questionable or unusual this year, and I don't blame her for any of it. I do hope for her and her children's sake she is or will be prioritizing her mental health.

If you turn off the game for halftime, who knows that you did? I got no use for bad bunny or nfl really but would hope that I sent a message by not following along.?

I am continually amazed that people are ignorantly about how much their tvs monitor them. If yours has network connectivity, they know every second of every channel you flip to. Some tvs even are able to determine how many people are in the room and possibly how many people have eyes on the screen.

I'm an old and don't claim to be tech saavy. I will say that that most likely why I asked the question because I needed someone claiming to be more tech saavy than I am to come in and belittle those of us that ask questions in good faith.
Appreciate the smartazz response to a simple question. I hope you feel better about yourself, maybe even somehow superior.

It's definitely R-rated, but more relatable to the average beer-drinking American than what the Super Bowl monstrosity has turned into - even if you leave the politics out of it. Though I would imagine Kid Rock is more likely to tone it down than most of the rap artists they have on the Super Bowl halftime show. I just find it ironic that some want to poke fun at the idea of doing one with Kid Rock and pretending to ignore how ridiculous the Super Bowl halftime show has become.

I'm certainly in the stage of life where my reaction isn't so much about the genre or virtue signaling, but simply thinking "Ok that's great...but it's not something my elementary age kid should be watching or listening to".

Kid Rock was certainly not family friendly in the late 90s when he got famous. ...but I thought he became all freedom-loving, anti-communist, patriotic, and non-woke. Isn't he more country rock than faux gangster rock now? Is there a chance his TPUSA half time performance actually is more family friendly patriotic American music as compared to his old Devil Without a Cause material? ..and that cross dressing bad rabbit hombre plans on honoring queers and singing in spanish. Maybe it's great music and theatre, but American Football is uniquely American with the super bowl being broadcast worldwide to over 180 million viewers. The rabbit singing "F*** ICE" in support of open borders and paying homage to homosex in a foreign language is just not very appetizing and doesn't seem uniquely American at all.

Given there are 4 different acts and its a halftime show, he will probably only do a couple of songs, if not a medley of some sort.

It wasn't hidden, I think it was even in a video he made.

And it was censored for domestic violence.

Songs are story-telling. Some since very provocative songs. Rarely to they live out the songs that they wrote.

Acting like Kid Rock is a pedo because if a song from a movie that includes another 'rapper'. Not that it matters, but did he even write the questionable lyric?

BTW - This Kid Rock nonsense is STRAIGHT from Reddit. We need a flag "Bull**** from Reddit".

Trolling and unwilling to discuss. Flagged.

Unless you have something else on Kid Rock. Or want to discuss the context of the lyric, whether he wrote it, and what his actual values are.

Were you clamoring to go after any artist that sings of things that may be unsavory or illegal?

Are you going to be fair? Or just persecute TPUSA because Reddit says to?

Pointing out dumbarsery of reddit and its idiot users drudging up a Kid Rock collaboration from a 2001 movie is not me being mad. Simply pointing out how sad the left is they have to disparage folks at every turn simply because the person is now affiliated with MAGA, TPUSA, Trump, etc.

I went to summer sanitarium tour in the early aughts and the lineup was Powerman 5000, Kid Rock, Korn, System of a Down, and Metallica.

I still kind of like Metallica, though.

to defend the sanctity, holiness, and righteousness of the foreign language cross dresser bunny that plans to pay homage to homosex to the world at the superbowl, they had to find some bad lyrics from an obscure crappy song kid rock did over decades ago.

I am sure you enjoy Coldplay, Mobi, Ed MCain with a little John Tesh when the mood strikes. But seriously, I don't think anyone has a clue what you are getting at.

BTW - The tangent on Kid Rock was not about the quality or fandom of his music. The issue was painting him as a pedo over long ago lyrics he may or may not have wrote on a song included in a PG rated movie no ones ever heard of until Reddit spun it up yesterday.

By no means am I a fan of Springsteen, but this is unintentionally the funniest thing I've read here in a long time. Springsteen can still pack out arenas. Kid Rock will be playing Austin County Fairgrounds in Bellville in a few months
