Typically, these politicos expect that yelling/screaming while pontificating will intimidate the person being questioned. Like BQ_90 pointed out, they simply are saying things to be used as soundbites to show their supporters how 'tough' and 'upset' they are. It's interesting when their energy is questioned and they do not know how to react.

They go up with a script trying to get a specific answer to a loaded question and then they'll continue if they get the assert they want to follow their script, and yes, all to generate sound bites for media. They get angry whe the script isn't successful and can't be followed.

Bessent has to handle a lot of mines Trump's comments have caused for him, along with vitriol from the left...and he handles it all very very well.

He's also very front and center, continually explaining their/his actions, and does it perfectly.

I watched alot of this live this morning and it was quite entertaining. One black Congressman absolutely lost his **** and went on a massive TDS rant trying to tie Trump to the Keating Five Scandal from 35 years ago. The Chair had to gavel him into submission.

Bessent was mostly just like, "Ok?".

because he didn't give them the answers they wanted or actually because they tried to answer the questions at all. Again these are sound bites for idiot voters back home.

Congress calls the administration to hearings to provide answers to questions they don't want answer.

This is all under the guise of governing. In truth its all theater.

I ask myself that question often but so far from what I see is that he very much working hard for the Trump administration & not GS. I also like to have a SOT that as a private citizen was smart enough to almost cause the collapse of foreign currency because of their stupidity.

I had a friend give me one of these, but it's a bit nicer and unedited.

I'm not sure if it's safe to wear out or not, but it got a good laugh. It was given to me by a fiscally conservative bisexual female, if you can believe that such a person exists, to add some context.

It never ceases to amaze me how low IQ most Democrat representatives are. They should have learned a long time ago not to tangle with guys like Bessent or Rubio. The intellectual contrast is stark to say the least.

It's sad what passes for Representative material. The bar is very low.
