The problem here is that he had no reason to do this. He's simply butthurt because his far left wing bubble was punctured.
Oh, he had a reason. He's going to do the leftist podcast circuit, do guest shots on The View, and hit the paid speaking circuit to leftist groups with his new schtick of trashing CBS and anyone marginally to the right of him.
Will probably pay him quite well.
But he's been fully exposed. He burned the bridges, not because he's principled, but because he knew that that the leftist fiefdom that he had helped control was crumbling. Scott Pelley was not a newsman. He was a propagandist. He, and others like him, destroyed 60 Minutes long ago.
