Ah, no worries.

This is actually more great news as Cassidy is a rino who should absolutely be discarded, but I never trust Louisiana voters to do the right thing.

You're a wise one, that's for sure!

I think the Republicans will retain Alaska and Ohio and win tossup states Michigan and Georgia for 53 Senate seats, and the Democrats will retain New Hampshire and win tossup states Maine and North Carolina for 47 Senate Seats.

Checking back in, it seems like MI and ME are the top two GOP priorities right now, both trending in the right direction, thanks largely to Democrats.

I am optimistic about NC, given the voter registration trend lines, but that could slip from Tillis (rino) to Cooper by 3 to 5 points if I am wrong. OH and AK I am not real concerned about at this point, let alone Texas, though there may be a play for GA still.

GA race against ossoff is looking solid right now, based on voters picking the GOP candidates for the two state supreme court cases and the primary results as well. I read that it is likely most of the Carter voters will shift to Collins in the run off with Dooley, as the former also tried to align with Trump vs. Kemp. I'm fairly certain Collins is the strongest candidate to take on Ossoff in Nov.

Bonus; Obama's anti-midas touch demonstrated yet again.

Good to see some evidence of Democrats calling out Platner.

Breitbart: 'Non-partisan' analysis predicts Dems will fail to take senate.
Quote:

A nonpartisan analysis forecasts that Democrats will fail to retake the U.S. Senate Majority in the midterms, despite the establishment media narrative that Republicans could lose the upper chamber.
An Inside Elections analysis recently provided an updated rating, with the tally forecasting Republicans with 52 seats, Democrats with 45 seats, and three tossups.

More specifically, the analysis showed Maine and Ohio tilting in the GOP's direction.

In Maine, for example, Senate candidate Graham Platner (D) the left's presumptive nominee hoping to oust Republican Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) has continued to go down in flames with resurfaced Reddit posts showcasing shocking remarks he has made. In one, the 41-year-old Democrat mocked an American soldier who was shot four times in Afghanistan, writing, "Dumb mother****er didn't deserve to live." In another unearthed social media post, Platner admitted to masturbating every time he defecates in a porta-potty, and he praised crude ***** drawings.

The forecast also looked at other swing states, including Michigan, North Carolina, and Georgia, deeming all three tossups.

Good to see, but a lot of time left. I think Bill Mitchell is correct in this though:

Ted Cruz is predicting some sort of senate revolt over the anti-weaponization compensation fund Trump won. I'm not sure why the Senators think they should have more power over it. They're the ones who voted for all of the Obama-Biden judges engaged in lawfare/show trials of conservatives.

Mary Peltola tries the sleazy maneuver of getting a fake 'Dan Sullivan' to run against Dan Sullivan in order to trick voters in their ranked choice voting system into failing to back the GOP nominee.
Quote:

Sullivan's campaign hasn't hid the fact that the names of the phony candidate and the incumbent are the same as the press release is headlined "Dan Sullivan Challenges Dan Sullivan for U.S. Senate Seat" with a subheading of "Urges Alaskans to defeat incumbent, elect a Sullivan who Stands up for Alaska." Sullivan has also taken to adopting incumbent Sullivan's original campaign slogan of "Sullivan for Senate."

Local media have noted the odd situation and Peltola's involvement, as Peltola recently completed a trip to Sullivan's hometown of Petersburg.

Alaska will hold its election on November 3, and the winner will be selected by rank-choice voting.

This will backfire on her, I believe. Pathetic deception is par for the course for Democrats. She's been polling 'ok' but I think this reeks of desperation.

It's getting worse for Dems in many races, MI-ME are going to be absolute dog crap candidates in the general for them as it stands (they may yank Platner this month as a consequence):

I saw a blurb about 2 of the Cali redrawn districts that were expected to be blue are turning out red.

More good news for the good guys.

Senate actually passed a Border Enforcement Bill last night and didn't remove the fund.

Murkowski, being the RINO that she is, was the lone Republican who voted against the bill.
