I don't care for LA per se; I just believe that applying conservative policies after years of left-wing ones will result in measurable improvements, thereby prompting similar voting shifts in other blue areas. I came across one of those social media short videos a while back that went over "Great Moments in Unintended Consequences." All of their videos highlighted various govt laws or programs that took the unintended turn. One of them was California Prop65 and how now everything in California just gets the sticker

My son is in college just north of San Diego. I loved a review I saw on amazon once where someone threw a huge fit because it had one of those labels on it and they were so angry at amazon for selling something that can cause cancer. I don't remember what it was other than it was just an everyday item, and because all the competition didn't have that label that they are clearly safer to have. Apparently that person has never been to California.
